General Discussion / overprinting on image
« on: 2021-03-18 06:01:54 »
I'm sure that in an older version of TP I could overprint text across the bottom of an image, eg a copyright statement.
I've forgotten how to do it... can someone help?

I've crossed the 2GB threshold on my tpdb8 database, so I've created a new sqlite tpbd8s database.
Can I import the thumbnail and data from my old database into the new database?
All help much appreciated.

ThumbsPlus v10 Questions / refresh thumbnails
« on: 2017-09-28 04:39:21 »
When I save an edited image under a new name I have to refresh the view before the thumbnail comes up in the folder. But then I'm at the top of the folder...
I have watch changes in folders ticked and make thumbnails automatically ticked.
What else can I do?

ThumbsPlus v10 Questions / FTP site
« on: 2017-09-08 04:20:58 »
Can anyone help me...?
I've learned I can plug a hard drive into my modem for backup (using USB port)
Windows explorer sees it like this: ftp://192.168.1.254/Data/
But I don't know how to get ThumbsPlus to address it.
Any tips?
cheers

ThumbsPlus v7-v9 Questions / setting dpi in TP7
« on: 2016-01-19 19:09:14 »
can someone tell me:
If I use quick process to set the dpi in a jpg am I rewriting the jpeg with a subsequent quality loss, or am I just changing a tag within the jpg and the quality is lossless?

Our new PC have policies which do not allow non admiin users to write to the program folder.
That appears to be where the print schemes are saved, so I cannot save my print schemes.
Is there somewhere in preferences where I can designate an alternative folder to save my schemes?

I am using (and loving) TP7

ThumbsPlus v7-v9 Questions / multiple instances

am I able to launch T+7 pro in two adjacent windows without scrambling or jeopardising my database? (I did once lose a bunch of video files when trying to move them between folders using T+7- I think all the windows indexing must have got screwed.)
