Can I set up a way to view encapsulated metafiles in ThumbsPlus 9? I tried entering an emf file type in the metafiles category using the same settings a mf. Placeholders for the files now show in the thumbnail window, but don't open for viewing.

From what I recall EMF is only partially supported internally - it may work with some simple files, but not with others.

If you happen to have a .flt file (photoshop compatible file loading filter) for EMF files on your system, you could try to use that, or else you may have an OLE-capable program that can read the files. You could also try the PolyImage Pro loading method (all 3 methods can be set up under Load File Using in the file type definition).

I have Photoshop on my system, but didn't find a filter for emf when TP searched for filters. But I was able to select PolyImage and it's working great.
