Thank you, Daan. I started thinking along those same lines a few hours ago, and learned enough CSS to get the job done. I added these lines in the header of the Web page. They can change the body and font sizes independently, along with the normal, viewed, hover and active colors of links.

The use of each section is pretty much self-explanatory -- like "body" controls everything that appears in the body but tables seem to be immune to it, "td" controls the contents of elements, and so on.

The results appear at [link]http://aspenhof.info/photos/regatta2014/index.html[/link].

By editing the .tpt template I have been able to reduce the font size of the comments and other text on the index pages in the Web Page Wizard. For example, gives me characters 10 pixels high.

How can I adjust the font parameters of the filenames under the thumbnails to be the same size, or even smaller? Everything I've tried leaves it at 12 pixels high.

Thank you!

Laura, I am probably not a typical user. The only social networking I participate in is Facebook. but I rarely post images there and visit only a couple of times a month. I need no scripting and couldn't tell a python from an anaconda. If I say "SQL" my dog thinks I have spotted a squirrel for him to chase.

And I have not yet measured it, but it feels like v7 loads faster than v9 in Win7.

Thank you, Laura.

I mis-spoke about scanning. In v7 it is "Image, TWAIN Acquire, {my scanners}."  In v9 it is "Image, Acquire, TWAIN Setup, {my scanners}" then "Image, Acquire, Acquire Image." Seven steps instead of three.

V7 gives me the choice, after modifying an image and "Saving As," of retaining the EXIF data. V9 removes it and un-clicking the "Remove File Information" button does nothing. And twice this morning it also turned the saved image 90º clockwise!

I am hoping that Version 10 reverts to functions that behave more like those of Version 7.

V7 actually names the "last filter" used, while V9 just says "last used" and I wind up using extra steps to check that it is really the one I want.

V7 remembers the last TWAIN scanner used and defaults to it so initiating a scan can be a one-step process. V9 requires that I first choose a scanner, then back to the top menu and down to Image Acquire to start the scan. The choice of scanners is no longer sticky.

V7 always handled the orientation flag (landscape/portrait) from my Nikon camera correctly. V9 sometimes ignores it, and even attempts to "Turn & Mirror" and then Save may not result in the correct orientation being obtained.

I've been trying for several months to learn to like V9, even forced myself to use it  when I knew extra steps would result, but for my uses V7 is a superior product. Is there any hope that V10 will operate more like V7?

Thank you!

Thank you, Daan. The HP Web site gave up a diagnostic file "HPPIW.exe" that includes a Wizard for finding and fixing bad drivers. It found the missing TWAIN driver and replaced it, in its own child folder under the C:\WINDOWS\twain_32 folder.

I saved a "Copy of........." just in case.

But the Wizard lied to me in the process. It told me the printer and computer were on different subnets. In fact the printer's IPAddress is 192.168.1.82 and the computer's is 192.168.1.50, both fed from a router at 192.168.1.254/255.255.255.0. Different subnets indeed!

Thanks again for your speedy and accurate advice.

Does anyone know how to activate again a Twain source (scanner of HP C6380 All-in-One) that has gone missing from the T+ "Image aquire" menu (v7/sp2)? The scanner uses an Ethernet connection, still prints, and is still seen by VueScan. Thank you!
