Sorry, I'm not anti-Microsoft. If your camera has a USB port, my instructions will work. You don't need special software. If your camera doesn't have a USB port, then of course, all bets are off. It's not MS' fault, in that case. If your camera doesn't have a USB port, then it's not the camera's fault either. It came out before USB - although I think that's highly unlikely. What camera is it (make and model)?

Yes Daan, that did help. Thanks very much.

I usually just plug a USB cable into the camera and then the computer. Windows pops a window up asking what I want to do and viewing or opening them in Thumbs was an option I added a long time ago. Or, I can close the dialog and just open Thumbs and navigate to the drive letter assigned to the camera's card. I never have to take the card out of the camera.

ThumbsPlus v7-v9 Questions / Customize Toolbar

I just installed version 9 and can't seem to figure out how to customize the Images toolbar. I want to add the Scan Folder icon. I thought that would have been a default, but it's not and right-clicking the toolbar and selecting Customize shows no way to add or remove icons on the toolbar. Unless I'm missing something.

Been away for quite a while and back from the near dead (I still have 1 foot in the grave, but the other foot ain't ready yet). We first met on CompuServe (I was part of the GGG team). I last spoke with Laura via email almost 4½ years ago - hope she is well.
