View Window limitations

Your kind help please.

The view window in V9 SP1 has a limit on the size it can be reduced. Previous versions it was very helpful to reduce the window considerably so that I could view a lot of files along side each other on the same screen. Perhaps I have missed a preferences tick box, but I don't seem to be able to get that old flexibility back.

I was just playing around with settings because of the ever repeating problem of black borders. Try this, it might give you what you need:

Options | Viewing Options | Window | Fit images to window width & Maintain aspect ratio

Thanks for the reply. Last night I tried what I think are all of the combinations under this tab, but it doesn't seem to have done the trick. I think I might go back to an earlier T+ version where you could reduce the view window to a much smaller size. Thanks anyway. Bill
