Extract Bitmap - where is it in v9?
« on: 2014-02-20 16:21:52 »
I have just upgraded from v7 to v9 (9.0(3935)) and cannot find the Extract Bitmap option in v9 (View window > Menus > Image > Extract Bitmap).
I have searched the v9 help, and it states the Extract Bitmap option should be where is was before.
I still have v7 installed and tried a pasting the same image (with an embedded bitmap) in to v7 and v9. Found the Extract Bitmap option available in v7, but not in v9.
Appreciate any pointers as this was a really useful feature.

I don't know if it's still there, but did you try pressing Shift-B in the viewer? That used to be the shortcut. Or, create a batch process (it's still there under Batch Steps | Add | Metafile). I also looked briefly through the commands available from the Customize dialog (in hopes that you could create a button for it) but I didn't find it there.

Huge thanks for the pointer - although Shift B doesn't work either, the batch process method did.
Again, many thanks
