Title: setting dpi in TP7

can someone tell me:
If I use quick process to set the dpi in a jpg am I rewriting the jpeg with a subsequent quality loss, or am I just changing a tag within the jpg and the quality is lossless?

The file is rewritten but the image data is not affected. So, it's a non-lossy operation.
