Hanging while enumerating TWAIN data sources
« on: 2013-08-09 10:53:38 »
Usually this take a bit more time than it should (especially when there are no TWAIN sources available) but now it is just hanging there.

Is there a switch I can turn on & off so that this step is not performed? Is this message masking something else that is not being displayed but yet hanging the system?

Please advise.

Thank you.

P.S.

I found the issue but it is perplexing. I had my smartphone connected to my computer through a USB cable and that seemed to be the cause of the hang-up. I say "seem" because after I unplugged it and restarted T+, it came up successfully.

Looking at my file system, the smartphone was set up as two drives but that SHOULD NOT make a difference, should it?

Yes, the -notwain commandline parameter. The -safe parameter does the same thing but additionaly disables some other parts of the program.

It might act as a twain-compatible imaging device as well..
