Customize Toolbar
« on: 2014-06-09 00:10:01 »
I just installed version 9 and can't seem to figure out how to customize the Images toolbar. I want to add the Scan Folder icon. I thought that would have been a default, but it's not and right-clicking the toolbar and selecting Customize shows no way to add or remove icons on the toolbar. Unless I'm missing something.

Been away for quite a while and back from the near dead (I still have 1 foot in the grave, but the other foot ain't ready yet). We first met on CompuServe (I was part of the GGG team). I last spoke with Laura via email almost 4½ years ago - hope she is well.

Hi Jim,

Go to Options | Customize and choose the Commands tab, and from the Categories list that appears pick 'thumbnail'. You should now see a number of thumbnailing-related commands to the right. As long as this Customize dialog is open, you can drag and drop commands from this dialog onto a toolbar (or menu). I hope this helps!
