3928 No database import

Clicking on Database|Advanced|Import database... does absolutely nothing.

No menu, no dialog box, no error, nothing left in the log.

However adding the import command icon to a tool bar does work.

Hi Pete and other ThumbsPlus users,

The import function is broken in ThumbsPlus v9. This is a major bug that we are treating as such and it will be fixed for the next release of ThumbsPlus.

Kind regards,

Laura,
I have been using T+ V7 for several years, just upgraded and installed V9 Build 3928. I was exploring Help and forums to see how to bring my existing V7 DB into V9. Looked like V7 export and V9 import was the plan. However based on your message doesn't sound like that is a current option. Is there a workaround or best to just hang tight till V9 import is functional?
Thx.
Doug

Doug, you can install v8, do the import there and the new database will open in v9 as the database format in 8 and 9 is exactly the same.
