Esc vs. Alt+F4
« on: 2016-09-13 14:45:13 »
Hi there,
I have a new computer and TP works well except one strange thing. After editing a picture I used to close the picture via Escape. Now on the new machine this doesn't work anymore, I must close it via Alt+F4.
I'm a bit confused and I wonder where being able to change this.
Thanks in advance for your help.

That's strange, ESC works fine for me.

In the viewer/editor, when you open the File menu, doesn't it say 'Close   ESC' near the bottom?

To (hopefully) fix this, go to View | Customize | Keyboard in the viewer's menu. Then look for Close in the File category. On my system, ESC, Ctrl-F4 and Alt-F4 are all three assigned to the Close command.

Yes, same settings. Esc is assigned to ""close", but it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

I think you're the first to report this here.

Are you sure that some other program (or Windows) hasn't made ESC a global hotkey?
