Hi Gary,

After playing with this for quite some time I think that I was able to get something weird to happen. My results were different than yours but I found the problem.

This has been added to my list of bug fixes and will be fixed for the next release.

Phillip and I have talked about this at length.

This will be considered but it will be more difficult than you would expect due to the many changes in the interfaces in v8 and v9. (Including drop down menus, dialogs etc..)

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your continued support of Cerious Software.

If you can see this phone or its files as a directory or an offline volume in Windows you should be able to see it in ThumbsPlus.

What do you see in Windows?

Please send me a screen shot of the view of this device in Windows. Also, what do you see as far as the properties of this volume or file? If you can get to the properties dialog box please send me a shot of this as well.

Thank you for your support!

If you turn off "file date" in the options then the "date taken" will remain deselected.

Let me know if this is not helpful, (you MUST have the "file date") as I can figure out a way for you to work around this issue with other options while waiting for the next release.

Also, note that each view will have separate entries. OPTIONS>PREF>THUMBNAIL VIEW> LARGE, LIST, SMALL, REPORT, and CUSTOM.

Thanks for your support for ThumbsPlus.

I agree, ThumbsPlus should not only let the user know what the files they are sending are, but there should be options available for the user to choose when sending this data to us.

I will get with Phillip so that this can be changed for the next upgrade.

I am on vacation until Monday July 1st. I know it seems like I just got here but I will be back! My plan is to continue to work with these forums on a regular basis from now on.

Phillip and I have discussed this and the known limits are:

*In order to sort by something - something has to be listed and shown.
*ThumbsPlus does not update the drop down list for sorts as it should.
*In order to store, show and then to sort using the new data entered, ThumbsPlus has to be exited and re-started.

This problem behavior has been noted and listed for fixing for the next build.
