Trying to get TP v9 to work on Win 8.1, I got advice to try compatibility (since TP v9 did work on Win 7 for me, even Win 8, just not Win 8.1).
However, when I try to run in compatibility I get a message window that has an issue with it - it asks "Do you wish to remove this compatibility layer and restart ThumbsPlus?" and gives you three options: Yes, No, and Cancel. But these are fake options. There is no choice - you cannot click "NO", for you will just get the same message window. You cannot click "Cancel" for again, you will just get the same message window. You can only choose "Yes".
So why give us options if there is only one option that will work? Just say, sorry, compatibility layers are not allowed, TP will now remove the compatibility layer and restart.
