Batch update Original Date/Time
« on: 2016-07-11 06:10:34 »
I’m trying to add or subtract a few minutes from the Original Date/Time value for some photos, to correct for a wrongly set camera clock. I think I am doing the right thing, but the metadata does not change.
I've set the "XMP field to modify" to Camera > Original Date/Time.
"Adjust by" is set to
-00:15:30
I've added this step to the lower part of the screen, then click OK.
When I run this on a set of files, I see a progress bar as if something is happening, but the values for the files do not change.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
PS I’m using Build 4004 from October 2015.

Just to add I have now upgraded to SP1 Build 4010 and I get the same result.

I can't get that to work either.. I think you should report it to Cerious and see what they say.

Thanks for testing it. I have emailed the support@cerious.com address, but no reply yet.

Still no reply - do Cerious monitor the support email?

Yes, as far as I know they do (but they're often overwhelmed or may need time to talk to the chief developer). For best results:

[*]Use the word ThumbsPlus in the subject of your message
[*]Be sure that their replies do not end up in your (or your providers) spambox
    [/list]

If you need an instant solution to the problem at hand I'd recommend [link=http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/]ExifTool[/link], plus [link=http://u88.n24.queensu.ca/~bogdan/]ExifToolGUI[/link] if you don't like working from a command line.
