In another posting i mentioned that making thumbnails from .mts files can take a long time because the complete file is read before the thumb is created.
Today i found that the same happens in a slideshow and with the internal video player. So this is not only an issue with creating thumbs - it affects all functions.
In sight of more and more people using AVCHD cameras, this should become an item on the to-do list. Just my opinion.
Btw: different codec packs didnīt change anything. Also different settings. That it can be done "the easy way" can be seen in WINDOWS itself: it has no problems to create thumbs of .mts files in one second.
