In the bar directly above the thumbnail listing is a little window that (by default) says 'Selected'. Press on the funnel button to its left and pick 'All Files', and all files including any .iso files should show.

Alternatively, you could go into Options | Preferences | File Types and create an entry for .ISO, so that it becomes part of the filetypes selected for display in the thumbnail listing.

.ISO is not an image format (in the photo or drawing sense) so TP won't be able to create thumbnails for it. Instead it will show the icon of whatever program is associated to the .ISO extension in Windows.

Thanks for that Daan.

Does that change only affect the current folder?

No, both options that I described are global settings.

Thanks again Daan. Much appreciated.

I think that adding .ISO as a file type might be the better way to go. I'll give it a go.

Thanks. John.

My pleasure John!

Yes, it usually is. the 'All Files' solution can result in a very cluttered display if you have many irrelevant files in a folder.

These are the values that I would pick:

If you'd still like to have proper thumbnails for these files, copy a suitable image to the clipboard, select the desired .iso file and use Thumbnail | Make from Clipboard to turn the image into a thumbnail for that .iso file.
