convert HEIC to JPG

Hello

I did a search but found no reference to HEIC in TP.  anyone know if it perhaps has an undocumented feature for converting HEIC to thumbsplus?  it's been around since 2015; but I've never really cared until Apple decided to take pictures in heic format.  now I have pictures that I can't view on my computer.  I can use "photos"; but I'd prefer to continue using TP.  there are numerous open source conversion utilities of dubious quality.  I've take a look at paid options; but not sure which are best in terms of providing a lossless conversion.

I'd appreciate any comments on this issue wrt TP, or just heic conversion in general.

ThumbsPlus doesn't currently support HEIC.

thank you for the post from TP.  you're right,  apparently I only searched the TP10 forum and the post of interest was in the TP10 FAQ forum.  much appreciated!!
