Rotate Images and Retain File Date/Time ?
« on: 2016-08-07 10:19:10 »
I need to run a batch to rotate images 90 degrees without changing the file date and time.  I haven't found a way to do this in TP.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

First, turn on Options | Preferences | Retain original file date/time when quick process turning or editing IPTC
Then select the images (thumbnails) in question and use Image | Quick Process | Turn 90 Clockwise.

My pleasure!

Only 'quick process' type operations can be done without altering the timestamp. With more complex batch operations, you could use 'Image | Quick Process | Modify File Info' (Ctrl-Shft-Q) afterwards to re-set the files' timestamps to the current date, to a specified date, or to their original creation date stored in their IPTC headers (if they have that).
