Error-Messages at saving modified pictures
« on: 2019-02-15 04:30:13 »
Mostly every time (but not every time) I get following error messages, when I use the save-function for modified pictures...:

"TPv3ECF.tmp.jpg: Unable to write XMP information to file, error #0000000b: LFA_Rename: MoveFileW failure
The handle is invalid.
ThumbsPlus Pro Message <5751k-6>":

Then (every time a second message):

"IMG_9399.JPG: Error renaming temporary file to replace original after deleting original; temporary file will be left for your use: TPv3ECF.tmp.jpg
The system cannot find the specified file.
ThumbsPlus Pro Message <5776-2>":

ThumbsPlus then saves the changes to a new files with name like (for this example above it was:) "._00_TPv1FC5.tmp.jpg"

I have to write that my pictures are all on a NAS and the error not happend, if I save localy.

Is it a Bug or do I have to change some program settings?

Several possibilities

* The file is read only or there is a permissions issue.

* The file is open in another program:

Dropbox or another "Cloud" type folder may have the file open. It's probably best to do the changes in another folder and then move the files to Dropbox after the edits.
