No, only Windows properties.

But this seems not the problem. The image is not changed, but the EXIF-Information contains the Orientaion, and for me the Problem can be found here.
Believe me, TP7 has not this behaviour.
The way TP9 handles this, gives no sense for me.
If you use TP9 as a frontend like I do, you will see, that the TP7-handling gives much more sense.
Rainer.

@ PeteW1959

Again in TP7 all views of the rotated Thumbnail (Editor, Slideshow and ext. Progs) are viewed also rotated. TP9 shows only the thumbnail in the list rotated, not more.

I have the same choices, but they do nothing.
Mentioned again, this function works fine in TP7 but not in TP9

When I use the icons in the tool bar, the thumbnail is rotated in the list.
My scale is TP7, because it works. Why be satisfied with less?

Thumnail orientation has no effect on Slideshow, Editwindow and to external programs, only in thumbnaillist.

Viewing-Options-Window-Misc.
Monitor for view windows has no effect.
TP7 had no problems.

I have tried to change SQLite setting to accelerate tasks with assigning PRAGMA-keywords. In Thumbs9.ini this seems to be possible with the entry:

[Startup]
InitialDatabase=Database=Y:\Thumbs.tpdb8s; Driver = {ThumbsPlus SQLite3 ODBC Driver}; Timeout=5000; NoCreat=Yes; SyncPragma=NORMAL

I changed this entry to:

InitialDatabase=Database=Y:\Thumbs.tpdb8s; Driver = {ThumbsPlus SQLite3 ODBC Driver}; Timeout=5000; NoCreat=Yes; SyncPragma=OFF; PRAGMA journal_mode=OFF

I am aware that i lowered the reliability, but with the new setting the work is much faster.
Unfortunately, TP9 overwrites this setting on closing.

It would be nice if this setting is stored permanently.
