Thanks Daan. I have TP8 installed on another system and it does have an effective vconfig file (it does control status bar elements). I copied it to TP9 install changing name to thumbs9.vconfig. It appears TP9 ignores the file. I also noticed that the viewer status bar information is set from the initial image and then never updated as I spacebar through the images. Heck, I think I might just turn it off altogether. Cheers, Gary
